Holland Area

Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant:

Located in Holland, Michigan, Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant sits right on Pine Creek Bay. Boatwerks offers a beautiful outdoor, brick patio that overlooks the water. This courtyard area is ideal for cocktail receptions, wedding ceremonies, or a lounge area.

Port393:

Port393 is also located in Holland, Mi, with views of Lake Macatawa. They are a new, modern building and they have a decorated outdoor space, rooftop bar, and on-site parking. Their mission is “to turn dreams into realities and ensure every client is beyond pleased on the day of their celebration” and if you need help finding vendors, they partner with several caterers, bakeries, florist, DJs, hotels, and photographers.

St. Joseph Area

The Veranda

The Veranda is an outdoor covered space that starts as a blank canvas, ready to be assembled into your dream venue by their team at White Space Events. They are located in St. Joseph, Mi. with views of Lake Michigan. They have two onsite ceremony options and have a capacity of 250 guests. Additionally, they have catering, hosted bar services, and rentals.

South Haven Creations

South Haven Creations is a new venue that is recently renovated. They offer indoor and outdoor options. They have beach access, have an outdoor patio and are located directly near the woods in South Haven, Mi. Additionally, they offer in-house catering, have a full beverage and bar service, and free parking.

Northern Michigan

Castle Farms

Right outside the gorgeous castle at Castle Farms, there are several options for outdoor venues in the courtyard. This venue, in Charlevoix, Mi., will send you back in time and truly make you feel like a Queen/King. Their grounds are neatly trimmed, filled with flowers, trees and bushes and accompanied by a pond with a fountain. Their largest venue space holds up to 350 guests, but they offer smaller, more intimate venue options that hold up to 40 guests. This is a truly unique venue for a one of a kind experience.

Ciccone Vineyard & Winery

Ciccone Vineyard & Winery is in Leelanau County in Northern Michigan. Their restored barn opens up to the picturesque, rolling hills of their vineyard. They were voted Top 10 Best Winery/Vineyard Venue to host your wedding in the United States by Wine Enthusiast. From the vineyard, you can see the West Grand Traverse Bay, a beautiful background for any wedding.

Birchview Outdoor Wedding & Event Center

Birchview Outdoor Wedding & Event Center is the ideal location for a rustic wedding. They have an open barn and pavilion equipped with a bar and getting ready spaces. They are located on the grounds of Mueller’s Orchard and Cider Mill outside of Detroit. They orchard is a beautiful backdrop for photos are the immense amount of space in the barn/pavilion offers plenty of room for dancing.

Miscellaneous Areas in Michigan

Crooked River Weddings

Crooked River Weddings, Gladwin, Mi., is a venue that specializes in barn receptions and river ceremonies. They are another rustic location, but still incredibly elegant. They can seat up to 300 guests and big doors remain open to the barn for guests to come and go as they please. The best part is, you reach the outdoor wedding ceremony site by crossing a 60 foot wooden bride. How cute is that?

Sojourn Lakeside Resort
